Anshu is a certified Image Master from IMPA- Image Management Professionals Association, an Indian sub-continent trade body. Anshu Gupta is a powerhouse - her relatability, empathy and insightfulness makes her one of India’s most sought after and effective Image Consultants today. Building a formidable career in Image consulting is no easy feat and Anshu’s career journey is a testament to that.
With her well-established expertise in the fashion Industry, Anshu started her career as a fashion advisor. Looking well dressed and put together requires guidance, and her knowledge around this was much sought after by institutes like Wigan & Leigh College and Zed Career Academy. However, Anshu always felt there was more to be done. And when there is a desire to do more and accomplish more, the universe conspires to create the right opportunities.
A recent study showed that 85% of people globally feel they need help with improving their image. Improving one’s Image has a direct correlation to success, high self-esteem and an overall sense of well-being. So, in 2011, when Anshu chanced upon an article on Image Management, it was a light bulb moment for her.
In her quest, Anshu found the perfect harmony, combining her drive for greater impact, her personal philosophy on self-expression, and the immense opportunity to empower others in embracing their individuality. From this life changing moment began a journey to empower
others to build a strong identity - personally and professionally.
She completed her Image Consulting Partner Program in 2011 from ICBI under the curriculum of Ms. Judith Rasband, the world’s first Certified Image Master (CIM) and one of only ten CIMs globally. Her passion for this skill pushed her to become a certified soft skill trainer from Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) in 2012 and she completed her Train the Trainer Certification from NABET in 2014.
Anshu went on to become the founder President of the Delhi Chapter of Image Management Professionals’ Association (IMPA) and later on for Gurgaon Chapter. She held these positions for 7 continuous years from 2012 to 2018.
As a successful Image Consultant, her work and contribution to the industry has been widely acknowledged continuously across various platforms. She has been presented with various awards like IMPA Leadership Award for Business Excellence, IMPA Leadership Award for Social Impact, MS Talks-I- Inspire Award “The Image Consultant of the Year- 2019” and has also been recognised and awarded by IASAP (Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professional).
Anshu regularly conducts Image Management workshops for Corporates, Individuals, and Social Groups and has worked with various brands like Louis Vuitton, Shopper stop, Sony, Panasonic to name a few. She has conducted training sessions for inmates at Tihar Jail. In addition, she has trained Individuals such as Ms. Kanika Bali, Miss India Deaf 2011 and Ms Vidisha Baliyan Miss Deaf Asia 2019. She has been showcasing her expertise through appearances on TV shows like Image Banani Hai on Zoom Television and being featured in print media like Indian Express and The Asian Age. Her latest being her article on “The Importance of Image Management for Sports Persons” in Mr. Sushil Doshi’s “Book of World Cup Cricket (T-20)”. Anshu has also participated in talk shows on Bolt and the National Radio AIR.
